If you want to experience NYC at its heart, stay at the NY Marriott Marquis. This is a huge hotel, with lots of comfort and convenience. It sits in the middle of Times Square and the Theater District! It is the ultimate tourist, first time NYC experience. Also, within walking distance to Macy's, Empire State, Top of the Rock, 5th Ave, etc. Service at this hotel is great and there are restaurants within it. Revel and Rye for breakfast is a perfect spot!
Rooms: The rooms are comfortable and well appointed.
Walkability: Nice central location for walking to many tourist attractions!

This was a lovely hotel right in the heart of Times Square. We were close to everything, calling for a taxi/Uber was easy. Hotel was clean, and the accommodations were very nice.

Un hotel superbe, des chambres spacieuses. Le petit-dejeuner est tres bien aussi beaucoup de choix.
L'emplacement est super car en plein time square, on peut de la aller partout mais point ngatif pour le bruit... Si vous avez une chambre qui donne sur la place et si vous n'tes pas assez haut vous pourrez entendre du bruit, surtout quand il y a des concerts.
