This guy Allen hired me as the sub to make a small job that located at 385 west 12th street NY , we suppose to make custom wood shelves and the new backing for the cabinet, it was previously damage from the leak and the Allen ask me to replace for his customer. I replace everything what he ask me and at the end when the job was completed he disappear without paying me, after that I never heard from him and he never called me back, i'm still calling him to find out why he does that, but he did never picked up the phone and never answered my emails.

Hiring Bulson was everything you fear when you trust a contractor. Not only is the apartment still unfinished a year later- we discovered that the team is entirely unprofessional as they are uninsured and unlicensed. Bulson's general contracting license and insurance expired mid-way through the work, just before Bulson constructively abandoned the job. They also failed to pay the subcontractors funds we paid for work performed on the apartment. Additionally, Bulson charged us for work under the guise of "Change Orders" that were originally part of the scope of work. We were promised skilled professionals and the “highest possible level of value and service” but were given the exact opposite of a luxury renovation- a total nightmare. The entire renovation evolved into putting out fires left and right due to their careless mistakes and mediocre technique. As months dragged on with little productivity and extremely large gaps of communication- our renovation ended up surpassing more than the quoted amount due to their mistakes, in addition to dealing with an unnecessarily hostile management team. We had to remove Bulson and now have to go through to litany of correcting their mistakes and code violations with another contractor! This is the Fyre Festival of contractors. If I could give negative stars, I would. Update: Bulson NYC is now bankrupt and under several lawsuits- they've now set up Bulson LA or Bulson & Company, INC to defraud clients on both coasts.
