Waiting for an email to do a urinalysis for my job. After reading the reviews (funny how all the employees rate 5☆) I'm not confident they'll send an email, or if they do, send it to the correct email address. I don't need this kind of stress. *edit* never got contacted and it's been just under a year now.

Horrible company! They take forever to complete a background check. I honestly don’t know why employers hire them. I will never again apply for a company that hires Sterling to do background checks.

For a background check company, they're completely useless finding information on their own. You have to do all the leg work and they "read" the paperwork you've submitted and write a "report". Any fool with a PC can find MOST of the information they request, with a simple internet search. How they get contracts with these big name corporations is beyond me.

Sterling verified my employment with a previous employer but the hr secretary gave them the wrong information. The magnitude of the discrepancy was so large that anyone with half a brain should have questioned the response. Sterling took no responsibility to make a follow up contact. If I was a client of Sterling that would be the end of my relationship as a vendor.
