Would give 0 stars if I could. Incredibly neglectful management. Me and my roommates have been trying to get our ceiling fixed for over a year now and the ceiling in one of our bedrooms collapsed and they aren't doing anything about it. Worst management company, do not rent with them ever. They don't fix issues, the management is forgetful and doesn't care, the locks on the door downstairs is always broken and people loiter in the hallways all night. Do not rent from them by any means, they are the absolute worst.

All the recent reviews are accurate. Big City Realty is a horribly managed, neglectful company. 603 W139th is riddled with mice, AND there is STILL NO INTERCOM OR LOCK ON THE FRONT DOOR (it’s been that way for 2 years now). Made multiple complaints to 311 about it, nothing was done. Had to call the cops once during the winter/height of the pandemic to remove a homeless man who was sleeping on the 4th floor in the stairwell and i know i’m not the only tenant who had to do that. Not his fault being that the door is basically wide open all the time, and tbh i felt bad doing it but i needed the 911 call on record just in case they try to pull some shady BS and keep my deposit (which i know they’ll probably do based on what i’ve read here). Avoid them at all costs.

Horrible Horrible Management Company. Do not rent with them. They don't answer the phone, the Property Manager is neglectful. The builidngs are kept filthy and the super allows trespassers to loiter at the building all day and night. Especially at 145 West 138th Street. It's horrible.

Only after I posted this m did they give e the deposit back Tread on ice update I am a respected google guide and honest & humble hard working person.BEWARE OF BIG CITY REALTY They rejected to return our security deposit in full of $3950 & claimed the apartment was painted white at delivery but it was painted gray See before and after pics. I will stay tuned & update hopefully this is a mistake and not a scam or more reviews will follow this one. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU MORE THAN LIKELY WILL GET BURNED. NO GAS FOR OVER 6 MONTHS AND THEY GAVE US A SMALL ELECTRIC toaster oven & said they were in compliance with the law.
