Leaving another review as the negative reviews are completely inaccurate as of January 29th, 2022 and also a bit ignorant of NYC law. I've lived in the building for four years. Yes, DURING THE PANDEMIC, the gym and other amenities were closed (as they were in other buildings). They are open now and recently renovated. DUE TO NYC LAW REQUIRING FACADE WORK, the building's outdoor spaces were closed over the past year and change as there were scaffolds up across the building for inspection and repair. They are all open again and you have some of the best views in NYC (pictures attached from late last year, when the outdoor spaces reopened). Having to do a five-year inspection and repair is a requirement for every NYC building every five years. The pandemic hitting during the same time as the legally-required inspections and repairs made it take a few months longer, which was unfortunate. To act as if this was a permanent situation is so stupid, not really sure what else to say. Next time ask the virus to reschedule, maybe? Personally, I find the staff quite pleasant, but sounds like a couple people have an axe to grind? They always help me out, and I've never seen them make anyone wait for service.
