1510 Lex @ Carnegie Hill Place

Rented an apartment here for 3 years. It is a great place to live! The apartments have beautiful finishes and maintained by the building staff efficiently both inside the apartments and in the common areas. The building is impeccable! Location is hard to beat - close to Central Park, mass transit both Lexington Avenue and Q-Lines, major roadways out of the City. The building staff are professional and super friendly. Indoor amenity space includes a beautiful gym, a children's playroom and a gorgeous rooftop club. The rooftop is beautifully landscaped with great seating. Management even added a new pet grooming area when residents commented it would be nice addition for pet owners.

Weekday block parties in the neighborhood from 7pm-3am plus construction 7am-4pm next to this address from Marymount. Not sure how anyone can sleep on 97-98th between Lex and Park.

I love my building, its home! I thought about moving when my lease came up this year but when I looked around it was obvious Im in a great spot. Good neighborhood vibe, close to train, safe neighborhood, so close to Central Park. Building staff is excellent and accommodating and friendly. Apartment is well maintained by building, love the washer/ dryer in the apartment, roof and courtyard beautifully landscaped and maintained. Gym reopened as soon as it was safe and building protocols re: Covid are solid. Staff cleans all the time. Other residents respect protocols so it feels safe. Very happy I renewed the lease. !

Ongoing jackhammering construction from Marymount School expansion project makes this place unlivable. Just tour the building on weekday from 7am-5pm if you do not believe. There are fireworks and block parties on the public housing area now as well from 11pm-3am occasionally. Heard it while walking past the area. Any tenant living here has my prayers for at least the next few years.
