Avoid! The Hakimian Organization has treated their tenants at The Addition without any sort of decency or respect. If you move into a building managed by Hakimian, be prepared to deal with a whole lot of baggage. Like the reviews below, I’ve gone through a 3 month long arduous ordeal with the Hakimian Organization with nothing to show for it. After two months of coordination to move into one of their buildings, I was informed a week prior that I could not move into the building. No concessions offered, nothing promised, no alternative housing offered. Nothing! I had to move into a hotel last-minute on my own dime. Stayed there for an entire week. The entire time I had all my belongings packed and stored at a friends place. I can’t imagine the difficulty anyone with young children moving into this building has and is going through. We are now nearly a month into our lease with the building and still have no hot water or gas in the building. Has Hakimian made any effort to reach out to me to apologize, offer concession, or provide ANY sort of status update on the construction of the building? No. Nothing. All while I’ve incessantly tried to get ahold of Hakimian through their website, their on-site representative, the sales guys advertising their building etc. Avoid at all costs - shady landlords with no respect or decency. Willing to update this review if Hakimian makes any effort whatsoever to reach out to me.
