I find eating in here kind of hit or miss, the food and service can be good or lackadaisical.
My recent take out order bombed out on line, then I was given instructions to call my delivering restaurant with the order number to have them complete the process. According to the woman who answered the phone, they could not complete my order that way, so we started from scratch. That is an overriding issue between corporate and individual branches and out of her control, and she was pleasant on the phone. For this I have no issues with the Kingston restaurant. My actual take out order is another story.
My order included a Salmon Caesar salad-- the salmon was not just overdone, it was burnt to inedible and the greens were not only dressed, they were overdressed and also inedible by the time I got home. Why you would ever dress a to-go salad I do not understand. My loaded baked potato was disappointing, and I no longer remember what my companion had that was also no real thrill. I was too tired and demoralized to go back. It's not even that I was late in my pick-up, as soon as I completed my order, I got into the car to make the pick-up.
If I ever order takeout from here again, I'll open and check everything before I even leave and specify my dressing on the side.
I tried to use the online survey, but it's only good for 3 days, and I couldn't find the receipt with the survey number on it. There are no other options to just give feedback if you are over the date for the reward they offer for filling out a survey.
