Just completed the tour. A very entertaining and informative experience. The tour guides, Sherry and Ben (my apologies if Ive messed up their names), were simply terrific. The two folks who remained in character who followed us throughout were very fun and enjoyably creepy. This was the perfect combination of fun and education, with the right dose of a little scary. Cannot recommend this enough to learn about some of the more grisly aspects of Ithaca folklore . The museum, too, was very nice and a good setup for the tour itself.

Wonderful local historical center. The staff is small, but extremely professional, committed and knowledgeable about the exhibition. I had a good time exploring the quilting exhibition and learned a few other things about Tompkins county history. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

I attended an excellent local prohibition guided walking tour offered by the History Center in July 2022. The tour was fun. Our tour guide Ben was dynamic and  knowledgeable; he tailored the tour to the participants' interests and stayed longer to answer questions. Learned a lot!
