What a very shady facility this is!! The AUDACITY of Budget Truck rental to attempt to rip me off for $449 for a rotting tire that blew on the car tow which could have caused significant damage to the car it was carrying as well as caused an accident with the truck itself. I actually paid an additional $200 for insurance of the rental once I arrived to retrieve the truck and vehicle tow. The vehicle maintenance is NOT IN ANY WAY THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY!!! If BUGDET in COLLEGE POINT doesn't rescind this ridiculous claim thru this third party company named Sedgwick, not will we be going to COURT and reporting to the BBB, I will be sure to have my cousin who is a cameraman for NBC, arrange a story for the news to expose the absurd and unethical practices of attempting to rip off consumers. I have a picture of the rotted tire and the tire serviceman from Bernie's Tire was adamant about how dry rot the tire was. Evidently Budget does not want to pay for the tire repair due to negligence on their part so they are attempting to make the customer cover the cost. Totally unacceptable!!! Budget putting customers lives at risk and in the same space attempting to scam them out of money!!! An absolute Disgrace!!!

I originally had reserved a car for the weekend, ended up getting charged a lot more then what I originally signed up for... fine whatever. Fast forward I ended up adding an extra 3 days and on the day of returning which was set for 1 pm.. Chris had called between my wife and I 21 times in a 3 hour span, harassing us to bring the vehicle back an hour earlier. Because he had decided to rent the car we are in to someone else, before we had even arrived. Told me that "If I didn't bring it back in the moment he demanded, I would be charged for another weekend", essentially threatening me so he can make a sale to a customer that was waiting at the location. Sloppy, unprofessional, shady and no transparency whatsoever! Rent a vehicle from any place other then this one, you will save yourself a migraine! Run far far away!!
