We've lived here for nearly a decade. If that doesn't say everything, I think I should specify by saying how much of a personable experience it feels living here. Many recent buildings feel like you're living in a corporation, but at 175 Kent, I do truly feel as if they care about us, and do attend to our needs well. The roof is beautiful, the gym and yoga room are convenient, the rec room is lovely, and all our repair needs are taken care of pretty quickly. Highly recommended, and I am *not easy to please*.

I miss this place!!! I lived here for about a year with my roommates and I absolutely loved it. I much prefer the vibe in Williamsburg over Chelsea. The location was very convenient. Its right near the east river ferry which I used often to get to and from my job in Midtown. Having a Trader Joes right across the street was a godsend!! The apartment was cute, had decent finishings and there was plenty of sunlight for my plants. There are nice amenities such as a gym which I should have used more often and a roof deck which was fabulous. I enjoyed plenty of summer nights on the roof having cocktails with my friends. Building staff had a pleasant demeanor and were always attentive. Had a minor issue with our sink while we were there but Johnny the maintenance man responded quickly. He was always very helpful.

We are happy with our new digs @ 175 Kent. Thanks to Jojo for guiding us throughout the application process which was quick and relatively easy. The doormen are super friendly and made our move in go a lot smoother.

This is not a luxury building. Elevator breaks nearly weekly. Raw sewage in other units. Lack of real leadership to ensuring these issues are handling and makes for constant inconveniences. There needs to be serious improvement in management.
