image I trusted this doctor with my ears. The first few times he did an ear cleaning I was fine, however this past Monday I dont know what happened but he hurt me twice during the ear cleaning to the point that I cried out twice ouch that hurts a lot , I was in such pain and shock. As soon as it was done I felt ear fullness and severe pain. Its been 5 days and Im still in tremendous pain. Im afraid of the damage this has done to my already bad hearing condition, I dont think I could ever trust another doctor with my ears after this. I legit dont know what happened, this doctor used to be careful and gentle. Im traumatized after this experience.
Update its been 2 months and Im still in tremendous pain. I have ear spams, multiple tinnitus sounds that are very severe, sound sensitivity to all sound, i cant leave my house Im homebound in pain. I cant sleep because of how much pain Im in. I have sent emails with this doctor pleading for any help with this situation to no avail, he hasnt responded at all. He literally took my life from me. Please if you care about your health and life do not see this doctor!!! He needs to be investigated!!

image My mom had a terrible experience with this doctor. Sedative was put in her nose, doctor waited 45 min, started procedure and when she started to complain of pain, he tried to give her laughing gas to take the edge off.. inappropriate. I told my mom to contact her insurance company to report him, she wont do it because she doesnt want problems, I, on the other hand dont mind a little conflict. She now has a doctor that she really enjoys, Dr. Michael Burnett in Manhattan. Very thankful for him, she is no longer upset before going to her appointments and I couldnt be happier.

image I don't know if I've had a run of bad luck but my experience has been awful. Started out really solid but just quickly went downhill. I received an in house procedure and was supposed to be prescribed something before the surgery and wasn't (the procedure is known to be stressful, and absolutely was). Then, after the surgery, was supposed to be prescribed steroids immediately after and wasn't. When I had a follow up the week after the doctor said he sent it in and asked why I hadn't taken them. When my pharmacy said they didn't receive it and he double checked, I was told that sometimes things slip through the cracks. That first week was miserable as I only got worse, but once I took the meds I was in way better shape 2 days later.
For a follow up on the procedure, I was told I needed another scan a month later. So, when scheduling the appointment I asked if I could get the scan in Astoria since I live closer to that office. They said sure. I showed up a month later to the Astoria office and the doctor told me they didn't do scans there, even though the staff scheduled me specifically for a scan. So I waited another month (as advised) to get a scan in Brooklyn and lo and behold I need another surgery. The aftercare was a mix of indifference and miscommunication so I am seeking alternatives and a 2nd opinion. But, the office doesn't have a patient portal to get past scans. You have to bring in a usb and have them upload it, which I'm told can take half an hour. I scheduled to drop off a USB in Astoria Wednesday (to then go to williamsburg to pick it up Thursday. Solid system.) and when I showed up they were gone. When I called today I was told they informed me they'd be leaving early (not the case, otherwise why the hell would I go there...at just before noon). No apology, total indifference. My experience has been: They promise something, don't deliver, and then blame or ask to split the responsibility.
