Went for my biannual cleaning. I met the new hygienist, Jessica. She was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, reassuring, friendly. The cleaning went well with little discomfort. Dr Harrison examined my teeth and gums and was satisfied with my condition. I was happy, too.

Harrison Dental does good work, and their office is modern with the latest equipment and tools. In my/your initial visit, the hygienist will expertly clean your teeth, X-ray your entire mouth, and examine, probe, and map, the gums around each tooth looking for pockets. Then the doctor will come over and examine and discuss your x-rays and gum mappings, all neatly presented on a sizeable screen right in front of you. Excellent! However, the cost of their services are on the expensive side, and their treatment plan expects you to come every 3 months, no matter how healthy your teeth and gums are, and no matter how well you take care of them. As for those gum pockets they might find, do your research on ARESTIN before you come here, and familiarize yourself with it's proper usage. It's imperative that you do in order to not feel pressured into treatments you don't need, and insurance doesn't cover unless it's administered by a periodontist. My gums haven't bled in decades. They never bleed while brushing and flossing at home, or bled with the hygienist at my previous provider, not a single drop. For 40 years they and I maintained my gums and teeth as well as anyone can, and they were always on the lookout for dangerous pockets. So minus 2 stars for the ARESTIN treatments and treatment plan Harrison Dental recommended, both of which I seriously question.

My son had a baby tooth that wouldn’t budge. His first one ever to fall off, but the permanent one was already half way out. I think it was a situation where I was more afraid to yank it cause I was THAT child growing up. Dr. Harrison just kept the conversation going after I asked what the going rate was for the tooth fairy, and a bit of numbing gel, and more conversing..then *boop! He popped that baby tooth right off! Yeah, my son cried but he cries over everything. In the end, he walked out proud and surprisingly..not scared! He was so excited about his lost tooth! Thank you Dr. Harrison!!

Dr Harrison and his team are amazing. Facility is beautiful, dental equipment seems top of the line. More importantly, they are compassionate and patient. They take the time to educate you and even offer you alternatives if your insurance isn’t as good.
