Dr. Alan B. Kohn, DDS

I just had a routine dental cleaning at Dr. Kohn's office, which is now also Dr. Evan J Kollander DDS office as well (Kohn & Kollander Dental). My cleaning was done by Sasha, one of the dental hygienists at the practice. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was THE BEST cleaning I have ever experienced. Not only because it was thorough and I left feeling cleaner than I ever have before, or because she was attentive and explained things to me as she worked, making me feel relaxed and cared for. But because her touch was so light and gentle that I wondered if she had even begun the cleaning until she announced she had finished it. When I told her that she had literally given me the most comfortable (dare I even say, enjoyable!) cleaning of my life, she explained that she trained hard to ensure patients remain comfortable and calm during the cleaning process, and that thanks to the loops she wears during the cleaning, which not many hygienists are privy to but which Kohn & Kollander Dental invested in for this reason, she is able to see the tooth in its entirety and target the dirt therein without causing unnecessary pain or discomfort to the patient. As a working mother, I considered the cleaning a relaxing escape- I was reclined with my feet up and a TV in front of me, and did not experience a single ounce of pain. The overall experience was amazing. I highly recommend this practice and I would request Sasha for a cleaning. SHE IS EXCELLENT.
