I was recommended to Dr. Strachan from my a coworker - great recommendation and one of the best dentists I have experienced yet. Had mouth pain for months, and the dentist diagnosed it right away. Wish I had gone to him sooner!

I was looking for a new dentist at the same time I found out I was pregnant. Dr. Strachan seemed like a good fit. He took a full set of x-rays and determined that I needed to get a root canal because of an abscess above a tooth. Fine. I wanted to take care of it early in my pregnancy. (I was very clear with them that I was pregnant.) I get the procedure done on a Thursday afternoon. I'm sore on Friday. Par for the course, but pain doesn't go away and gets worse and worse on Saturday. Luckily, I'm able to find a dentist open on Sunday who can take me in for an emergency procedure. I had a really bad infection. And it was caused by the fact that Dr. Strachan didn't give me antibiotics due to my pregnancy. What he should have done is completed the procedure in two steps to let the abscess drain completely. Instead, he closed the tooth up, didn't give me antibiotics, and basically guaranteed that I would get an infection. I wasn't going to leave a public review. I called and emailed the office letting them know that I wasn't satisfied with the care, that I had a bad infection as a result of the procedure, and that I would not be returning. My intention was to let them know privately so they could make whatever adjustments they needed to make. What changed is that the office has called me three times since then to remind me that I'm due for check-ups. You would think that they would mark my record as inactive/unsatisfied in some way.

Dr. Strachan is an excellent dentist. I have been a patient for many years and I have no problems with their services. The frontline staff, to the hygienists, to the Dentists -- all amazing. They're very responsive to your questions -- always putting the patient first. I recommend you visit Dr. Strachan and his team. Improve your smile today :) Happy patient.
