I was seeing a dentist at kings highway location that I have been with for years but his old office at Albee Square closed and he relocated to this facility. He made me suffer with a tooth ache, insisting that a root canal was my only option or an extraction. My insurance doesn't cover molar root canals which I learned after authorization was denied, I filed an appeal which was denied as well and the office manager at this location was aware that medicaid does not cover that procedure. She was very unprofessional and hung up on me, the doctor declared "I'm just an employee here" after I returned to the office to consult with him and their behavior was disgusting. It ended up being that I had a big cavity and a root canal was last resort, if necessary. The dentist that did the re-evaluation works at the Caton Avenue site and was very professional in addressing my concerns and created a treatment plan for my teeth. I would recommend him to everyone and I will report Dr. Ibrahim to the Dentist Association along with the office manager because they allowed me to suffer and made it seem like paying $400 for the root canal, same price for Medicaid was "doing me a favor" as per the office manager, who should not be managing the staff when she needs to learn professional mannerism and English etiquette.
