I had an excellent experience at Pep Boys in the Bronx. Dennis, the manager, is very intelligent, experienced and knowledgeable about automotive service. He communicates beautifully and describes everything in laymans terms. Moreover, Dennis cares deeply about providing superior customer service. He helped me select four brand new Michelin Defender tires because safety is very important to me. He assigned one of his best technicians (Mason) to install my tires. Mason used his initiative and moved the better rims from the rear tires to the front tires for safety. I highly recommend Pep Boys on Conner St, Bronx without reservation. Candace Silver

I'm only giving a star because I am forced to give a star. I went to Pep Boys to have a tire fixed/replaced that was under road hazard warranty. It should not take 3 hours to change a tire when I have an appointment. Then, because they couldn't find the receipt in their system they tried to use 1000 miles per month to guess depreciation based on when the tire was purchased (I had the email receipt). Using the guesstimate mileage would have caused me to pay more for the new tire and decreased the value of the old tire. The manage told me the two ways to calculate depreciation by accident and when I questioned him about using time instead, since we know when I brought the tire, the calculation was a whole lot different (in my favor). Pep Boys do better.

First the customer service experience was wonderful. Mr. Patrick my assigned advisor was kind and generously assisted this grandmother on a budget. Ms. Sue, not my assigned advisor, however, kept me company and offered great conversation while I waited alone for completion of the service repair. I'm very pleased with the entire Pep Boys experience.
