James at Vigil’s was amazing!!! Every other diesel mechanic in Taos, NM told us they were a month out even for just a diagnosis on our check engine light. James was our angel. He gave us the option of returning later that same day or the next morning. Taught us many things about our Diesel engine including when you shift gears on mountain roads in higher elevation than our rig is used to. Thanks James! We greatly appreciate all of your help and knowledge💜

The folks at Vigil's were capable, responsive and flexible! I was traveling through Taos on my way to Colorado when my motorhome had a fuel pump leak—big deal! I called mechanics all over Taos and either got the run-around or the message that they were just too busy to handle my situation. I was so pleased when I found Vigil's and they agreed to squeeze me in, even though they were also very busy. Thank you! And just like that my fuel pump was fixed and I was back on the road…and another bonus…they actually explained what went wrong in the first place. Really appreciated on all counts!

Great service, fixed our recurring problem and gave us advice on how to keep it fixed in the future! No other shop has been able to give us that advice... wish we came here months ago!

I called Vigil’s Welding on a Tuesday morning, explaining my issue with the frame for my RV stairs needing welding of its alumInum frame. While I was not looking for same day work, they were able to fit me in after looking over the issue the next morning, and they had the work completed by 2:00 pm on Wednesday! The owners were both courteous and accommodating, given the potentially dangerous situation with which we were faced, 600 miles from home. Thank you, Vigil’s!
