image In Oct.2019 I purchased four trees, two Large Red Buds, a large Golden Rain Tree and a smaller Crab Apple, in March of 2020 I purchased another Crab Apple, a Vitex Shrub and a really large Mexican Plum. these all had their one year warranty since they planted them. The Vitex was dead and after a major fight over this, I was told if I removed my negative Yelp comment he would remove it and give me my money back. The Mexican Plum was diseased and 99% dead. I paid to have it treated, pointless. After suing him, I was awarded a settlement, since I had filed a claim against him with BBB [Let us know when the comment is deleted and we will go ahead and send the check.] again I was threatened, the comment came in an email, when I paid to have this tree removed we found the wire basket girdled around the trunk, suffocating the tree and few roots left, they KNEW THIS WHEN THEY PLANTED IT. The Crab Apple planted was suffering, I had two Arborists and finally the extension office check this tree and a Red Bud, also suffering, having paid to have my trees fed, etc. The Crab Apple was planted with the root flare 8" below ground and ended up with a Canker disease, dying, I paid to have it removed and could never plant anything in this family in that area because of this disease, planting the tree this low caused this problem and was total incompetence in SFTF's part. Now I come to the Red Bud, again treated and fed from 10-2019 through 8-2023 to no avail. Knowing the Crab Apple was planted to low, we dug all the dirt out from around this tree down 6" hoping that would help, it didn't, it was dying a slow death. We had it removed, we found the tree flare 14" below ground level, and then now down over two feet trying to remove the trunk we hit wire, the wire basket HAD NOT BEEN REMOVED. Planting this tree 14" below ground level and leaving it in it's wire basket is beyond NEGLIGENT, it is total INCOMPETENCE on Santa Fe Tree Farm's part and there is no excuse. I paid many thousands of dollars for these trees and for them to be planted, the one year warranty DOES NOT COVER GROSS INCOMPETENCE!, $400 to remove the dying Red Bud, $150 to remove the already DEAD Crab Apple and the original price of these threes.
Out of SEVEN trees, FOUR are DEAD. I am sure I will be threatened to remove this post too. Only a refund of all money paid for the crab apple and red bud and the cost to remove them will I give them anything but a 'F' score.

image I hired Chevo and his crew to build a section of Coyote fence and am very pleased with the great quality and price. Cedar latillas are tightly lashed onto welded Iron pipe sunk in concrete, like its supposed to be. They are first rate.
