We rented a room to stay overnight with 2 queen beds and one of the beds didnt change clean sheets was full of food debris and air lady at front desk changed us to a different room that was smelly pillows stinks of sweaty

Showed up yesterday after driving 600 miles to check in and was told they had sold my room because of some trouble with my card. They claimed the manager attempted to call me. A quick check showed no calls, no declined charges on my Amex, and I still have a booking comfomation. I asked for help finding an alternative hotel and was refused. I know mistakes happen, like overlooking, but the way this was handled is the very worst customer service.
