Absolutely beautiful design plan made! Michael took the bland out of what we wanted in the back yard. We went with DIY and all was simple. From finding the plants and adding the design features, it's been so much fun and looks beautiful!!
The project is still ongoing, but will update pics when done.

Michael put together a great plan for our home that looks beautiful now that is installed and growing. He also recommended experienced contractors for implementing the plan. We were also very satisfied with the contractor's completed work.

I first contacted Mr Polikoff mid January. We had lots of time for our new build but wanted to get started early. He met with us promptly and took lots notes. We gave him our deposit and then didn't hear from him for months. A friend also using him told me he was having a major medical procedure done. Fair but he never told us what was going on. So I was patient. In June we met and I gave him the remaining 90% of the money we were quoted. I was given preliminary plans that were far from completed. It also didn't include many of the major components I requested. That's fine - it was only preliminary. However, It's now end of September and I still not only don't have final plans, I can't even get him to nail down a date to see the completed plans because he has several projects going on. My friends that recommended him have had the exact same experience and regret using him.

I think the most important statement I can make about Michael is that I plan to use his services again on the subsequent phases of my very extensive landscaping project. I would strongly recommend him to my friends and family or anyone needing a professional and competent Landscape Architect. He was very precise on the project cost estimation, and conducted a thorough and successful bidding process to find the best contractor for my job. Michael works in a structured and disciplined manner to develop a project Master Plan in perfect harmony with the character of the property. His knowledge of plants suitable for our NM climate is encyclopedic. He has a network of reliable landscape contractors which he closely supervises and inspects. It is clear that he has his clients best interest in mind when dealing with the contractors, The very extensive first phase of my project was accomplished on schedule and on budget. Unfortunately, I have had more bad contractors than good, so I am extremely happy to share my good fortune in finding a great Landscape Architect. I am pleased to highly recommend Michael Polikoff Landscapes.
