I broke my foot at the gym (gyms are bad for you!) Dr. Chen did a great job with the corrective surgeries and follow-up care. She is a very warm doctor that puts your mind at ease that you're getting good care.

I have been very pleased with Dr. Chen in the few weeks I have been with her. I was almost hobbled when I first met her. She made a few recommendations, started me on medications and I was improving by the next day. I returned for an injection and will be having therapy. I find her to be competent, caring, and thorough. I would highly recommend her. She also works with 3 other podiatrists with excellent reputations.

Failure to Dx a Fracture: I went to Dr Chen on a Saturday after smashing a toe. The pain was so stunning, I suspected a fracture. Dr Chen told me there was no fracture on the X-ray, and to take NSAIDS for pain. Upon leaving, I paid $200 as they were out-of-network, and asked if I could have a copy of the X-ray for my records. Dr Chen came out to reception and said, "Wait, come back in. Your do have a fracture." I was completely stunned as she showed me the X-ray with a complete brake into 2 pieces of the metatarsal, visible even to me. Dr Chen stuttered unprofessionally and unapologetically. If I had left without requesting my X-ray, I would have walked around on a painful fracture, and prevented it from healing.
