Dr. Chen is the doctor you're always hoping you 'll find! He's very friendly and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He's worth the extra drive for. I highly recommend him! 👍

Please DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN. He knew I had neck surgery and pushed so hard on my thyroid and made me swallow 30 times with water. That the next day I started burping up and growling every time I swallowed. Then 1 week later a bump came out on my neck. He interrupted my neck surgery (scar tissue) I had 13 years ago. I have not been the same at all. I went to the ER because of the pain and the woman doctor said what happened to your neck with this bump and I told her one of the doctors there at Overlook Hospital did this to me. She said who and I told her and she said that you are the 2nd person this week I heard Dr. Chen's name said in a bad way. I called and called him and his answer to me was, well it wasn't like I strangled you or anything. I said, I should have never had you touch my neck since I had surgery (a fusion). He didn't know what he was doing with a person like me who had former neck surgery a fusion - he did something to my scar tissue inside or interrupted my vagus nerve. To this day I am not right. Please be cautious with this man. Also, the girl who gave me the thyroid scan said that Dr. Chen pushes really hard on your thyroid. And he is an independent from Overlook, he just rents space from them, so the Patient Advocate and President of Overlook wanted nothing to do with it. James Chen reads other people's thyroid scans and is in nuclear medicine, so he does do work for Overlook. They should really look into this man because he gives Overlook a BAD name, especially what he has done to some people. Don't go to HIM. There are plenty of other endocrinologists out there. He ruined my life!!!! And my neck and inside - one of my nerves. I don't want to put any star but it makes you put at least one star above.
