Having owned and dived with several SeaLife cameras in the past, we know their photographic products are second-to-none. No worries there, and that reputation alone - plus my past experience - have convinced me of the wisdom in investing in a DC2000, rather than a Fujifilm X100V.
The idea of a Waterproof, simple, point-and-shoot camera, with fast f1.8 lens and wonderful ease of use is almost enough - then you add a 60-metre housing and there is no further hesitation.
No problems with the camera then, but my Big gripe is the arrangement - or lack of - the SeaLife website. Specifically, their spare parts purchasing system - or lack of. I have managed to find an original (spare) battery for the DC2000 and put that into a shopping 'Basket", but if you are investing a considerable sum in a DC2000 system, then there are various parts that you absolutely MUST have too - including the Main Housing O-ring seal (SL 74017), Camera Battery/SD Card door O-ring seal and Lens Caps for both the housing and the camera (SL 11016 and SL 50113).
All these components are visible on the SeaLife spare parts list - and each has its own SeaLife Part Number - but can I move one of each to my shopping basket..?
Not so far.
I know that I am going to be violently ripped off when it comes to shipping charges for a few, very lightweight parts like those listed above - from the US of A to my address across the Atlantic in England. That is bad enough - but buying anything from America these days is stupidly expensive, so one adapts to the extra expense involved.
Unfortunately, experiencing any difficulties in actually buying the bits that I need makes the SeaLife shopping sensation less than ideal.
This is why I have deducted two stars from what would otherwise have been a full five-star review.
SeaLife management - please take note - Simplify your spares buying..!
Now I'm going back to the DC2000 Parts list and see if I've missed some hidden icon somewhere, that will allow the purchase of these basic bits...
Unhappily.

The tech support at Sealife is AWESOME!!! Sent my camera in after a recent dive trip with multiple issues. I was unable to connect to a PC (corroded ports), on/off buttons were sticking, and didn't understand how to connect to wi-fi. They repaired my camera, replaced my USB port and got it back to me (along with a PDF, step-be-step for setting up wi-fi) in just a little over a week. And.....they did it all as a courtesy! SO happy with the decision to purchase a Sealife! Will likely be adding more accessories (maybe some colored filters) as I become more and more familiar with what all it can do.
