TLDR: this place is DISHONEST and will charge you outside of the rent in ways that force you to pay. See list of extra charges below.
I am sick of the nickel-and-diming. Not only do they tell us they cant meet a comparable price in the area because they are a luxury building with amenities, but they then turn around and charge over $100/ person to access those amenities.
I happened to over-hear someone touring and the agent acted surprised that their previous apartment charged them for each amenity.
*gasp*- as if they dont do the same here.
BEWARE because now they are threatening to turn away all our packages if we dont pay them $30/month for this CARGO service. Its not a service if youre threatening to get rid of my personal property.
Any opportunity they get they will hold you hostage and make you pay more. Dont set foot in here, RUN. Pay attention to the negative reviews about the management too. Dont think youll get better service for a more expensive price.
Thankfully the concierge staff are nice- the only good thing about this place.
Extra charges they wont tell you about:
CARGO (mandatory): $30/ month
Full amenities access: $129/ month (per person- 2 people in the unit? $258/ month)
Move-in is M-F, 9am-5pm, otherwise $500 fee
Also check the profiles from good reviews on here. If you follow the linked in, they are often from Management or realtors/ brokers >.<
Update:
The management has begun turning away packages and requires that you pay for their CARGO service. You must now pay an extra $360 a year to receive packages youve already paid shipping for. If they hadnt trapped us into a lease wed be long gone by now.

My boyfriend and I, we moved in since May of this year. To be honest, we have no issues with living in this apartment. Spacious room with big outdoor terrace. Friendly concierge. Always felt home when I walk into the apartment. My only issue is with the package room. Since we moved in to the unit. there were multiple arrangements with package policies which was not comfortable for us to adjust. I hope theres no more changes with that. Besides that everything is great so far. If youre looking for spacious, cozy place this is the right spot.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this residential building, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. When I walked in, I was greeted with friendly staff. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to shopping, dining, and public transportation. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, well-maintained, and the rooftop view was amazing. The building also has great amenities, which I would love to stay at.

We moved in a month ago and the experience has been horrible. Other issues aside, we consistently failed to get hot water in the apartment, especially at night. The water temperature varies between 118 degrees (in good times) and 85 degrees (in bad times).
Can you imagine having to take a shower with water below your body temperature when super tired from work / workout? Can you imagine making complaints to management multiple times and only getting fake answers? They sent supers to fix it but the issue keeps recurring. Funny part is I've never actually been able to talk to anyone over the phone or in-person.
So even if hot water is not your thing, consider the possibility of getting any help when you have other issues.
I'm attaching a video of the cold water in our bathrooms as proof.
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT move in here!

I just moved into the art house about a month ago, and now feel I can give a full review. after reading all the reviews, I have to say I was a bit worried about how it was all going to go - but the negative reviews seem geared to slow service and amenity fees. Ill break down my ranking and why its four stars here.
Finding the place & moving in:
Five stars here for me. I worked with Tina Fasheh as my leasing agent, and she was amazing. Responsive, helpful, interested, she was everything youd look for in a leasing agent without any of the sneaky tricks that you often run into. Highly recommend working with Tina. The move in process was overall simple, just had to schedule through the app an elevator and handle any insurance - very basic requirements. This was, all told, very smooth.
The Apartment:
Four stars. When I first saw the apartment, I fell in love with it - and I still am in love with it! The layout and style was everything I was looking for and included the washer/dryer at no extra cost. Big fan of that. The only reason it isnt five stars is there are a few annoying parts - like a big gash on the floor, some weird writing on the walls thats been painted over but you can still somewhat see (havent figured out what its saying yet), and the sink drains slowly. Honestly, none of this is a big deal to me, and the handyman has noted all of it in my file so I have no concerns about a security deposit problem.
The amenities:
Three Stars. Okay, these are crazy priced. 200+ a month for the full package is a bit ridiculous. But you dont have to pay for it! And so I dont. I have the basic package with Cargo and the upstairs areas for 30 a month and that is entirely reasonable to me. I dont understand all the complaints people put on these - if its too much, dont get the package. Im thankful its a la carte and not all looped together, as you can pick and choose what you want - as in, I will likely loop in the pool package after the winter but I dont have to pay for that now! Cargo seems to be a whole other issue, as it did take me over a week to get my package after it was delivered - but I havent used it enough yet to fully write a review.
The Service:
Four stars. So far, outside of when I was working with Tina, responses have been a bit slow on the app and the phone calls just always drop if you try to call. Thats annoying - I want to use the phone to talk to a real human, not sit and wait for a response on the app. Thats my only issue though, as the people, when engaging with me, have been polite, understanding, and patient. Not to mention the concierge, who all seem like incredible humans in their own awesome ways.
All told, the negative reviews to me seem like people annoyed at having to spend a lot of money on the amenities or with slow service on facilities. I havent had a reason to call the Super yet, so I cannot comment, but you dont have to get the amenities if they are overpriced - and, they are.
Im very happy with my apartment so far, the people Ive interacted with, and look forward to a great year+ in this building. If you hate my review and want to call me stupid or anything thats fine, but know I will not be looking at this again lol.
