STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK IF YOU ARE A MINORITY OR BE PREPARED TO BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. My name is Isiah and I went to the branch on 4/20/23 and I was never experienced such racism. Manager Angelos stated that they are closing my account because it didnt make sense!! I went into the branch to get help setting up my online banking and I was told my account is closing because it didnt make sense. He created a hostile and uncomfortable environment. He belittled me and I feel like it was racially motivated. I am a registered nurse at the hospital 10 minutes away, yet I was treated poorly because I look different. Its 2023 and there is no room for racism. The manager Angelos was very rude, nasty, and was extremely aggressive. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH. I guess he thought because I am African American I would respond to him poorly, NO, he was wrong, I handle hostile situations professionally. I think Connect One bank should have its employees take a course on racial equality. Again, its 2023, There is no more room for racism and judging people based on how they look.
