I was referred to Denville Medical & Sports Rehab after being seen by Dr. Ratliff at Modern Orthopedics in October 2023. I wanted to explore other avenues for my shoulder injuries before agreeing to surgery. My MRI indicated numerous issues such as calcification tendinitis, a small rotator cuff tear and possible frozen shoulder. I was in severe pain and could not elevate my arm.
Initially I was seen by Anthony Rella who reviewed my medical situation and referred me to physical therapy. I was assigned to Dr. Luis Lopez. After working with Luis Lopez for several weeks my range of motion had signficantly increased, and my shoulder pain had drastically decreased. I was literally shocked and so very grateful for my tremendous results in such a s short period of time. Each week I feel my range of motion is increasing. This situation has helped me kick start myself into an exercise routine in the hopes of aging gracefully. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you to the staff at Denville Medical and Sports Rehabilitation Center especially Dr. Luis Lopez.

I been going here for a long time had a serious work injury and I finally got released to go back to work I want to personally thank physical therapist Lewis and Tim great guys and they did a great job i highly recommended them

Anthony is very professional and is attentive to all my needs. He takes the time to listen and come up with the best care plan to meet all your needs. Being in my late 40's and dealing with very low testosterone, the blood work is done right on site and you are in and out in 5 minutes. I highly recommend Anthony on many areas of his expertise. I MUST PREFACE THE GLOWING REVIEW OF ANTHONY RELLA BELOW TO STATE THE FOLLOWING AS OF JANUARY 16, 2024..
I needed to make an appointment and was told this place no longer accepts Medicare!!!
NO ONE CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW THAT I NEEDED TO FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!! THEY WERE MANAGING SERIOUS HEALTH CONDITIONS AND MY PRESCRIPTIONS AND ON GOING TESTS
AND NO ONE NOTIFIED ME THAT I NEEDED TO FIND OTHER HEALTH CARE OPTIONS
THIS IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE MOST IRRESPONSIBLE UNCARING CARE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED

My experience so far with Dr. Rella has been supportive and caring and he has given me hope that some of my arthritic pain can be minimized or alleviated. I will update as I start my different therapies. Glad I found them.
