Engineer booked for 2- 3pm, was told I would receive a call an hour before he arrived. He arrived at property 11am knocked the door - got no answer and proceeded to open the door via a caretaker ( who also had no permission to access the property but for emergencies). Lucky the door latch stopped them entering, as someone was inside on an important work call. His explanation was that he was doing a job nearby so wanted to do this one now 3hrs earlier, but did not have my number with him! At the time I had to leave my appointment and traveled an hour back to make sure he did not come back! the spectrum boxes was also in my trunk. There was no apology, I was so lucky there was someone in the property that had put a latch on the door, otherwise this engineer would have been in my property without permission from the owner! Oh and spectrum have refused to give me his name, he is suppose to give us that details when he turns up for his appointment! So be aware make sure you lock your door as the engineer can gain access to your apartment without notifying you! at anytime and you do not get to find out who he was! Very upsetting!
