My wife and I came up for a one night stay. We arrived a few hours earlier than check-in and David was so nice and accommodating. We were given an upgrade to a larger room due to a vacancy as well. You couldn't ask for a more quintessential New England Inn in a mountain setting. Although the location is secluded along the river it is less than 5 minutes from 93 and downtown Plymouth and about 20 minutes from Lincoln. The gourmet breakfast was incredibly elegant and professionally prepared by Trevin. The rooms are quiet, clean and very comfortable. We would highly recommend the Colonel Spencer Inn and anticipate returning in the future.

This inn is absolutely fabulous. The history of the building is very interesting, and the owners of the inn are very knowledgeable and friendly. The inn has cozy common areas with great bookshelves, and the breakfast is incredibly delicious and thoughtfully prepared.
