While VersaGrade disagrees with and rejects your claims, we support your First Amendment right to state your position.VersaGrade, Inc. stands in strong support of veterans and first responders. We have never terminated a veteran or any other employee for being sick or taking a family member for medical care. That would be discriminatory and has nothing to do with job performance. This termination of employment was based on repeated violations of company policies.VersaGrade has employed many veterans during decades in business including other veterans who are currently working with us. In 2005 we received a “Statement of Support for the Guard and Reserve” from the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. This certificate pledges our support for hiring service members and protecting their employment if they are called into military service. This in fact occurred and we brought a service member back to employment following his deployment.Furthermore, we have donated thousands of dollars to veteran’s organizations and law enforcement such as the Northern Nevada Veteran’s Resource Center, Wounded Warrior Project, Tunnel to Towers Foundation and Nevada Police Foundation. The assertion that VersaGrade fires veterans without cause or does not support them is blatantly false.
