U-Haul Moving & Storage of N Las Vegas

Very rude employees. We returned the truck late due to the store NOT ensuring there was a jack and lug wrench in it. We had to wait for U-Haul's roadside assistance to arrive (a whole other adventure on rudeness). When we did finally get the tire changed and the truck returned, the woman inputting the mileage just made up numbers.She refused to verify the mileage, so we were charged for extra miles. We were also charged for damage to the truck's wheel well (allegedly from the blown tire) that appeared to have been there for quite some time prior to our renting the vehicle.

Be very much aware... that even though someone @ the company location said she would waive lt fees do to covid. I was misled for what I was charged for and overcharge me and gave me a hard time period with no sympathy or empathy.I would not do business with Bryan at this location

The General Manager, Brian S. was very unprofessional, loud and extremely rude to his employees. He was demeaning and belittling his employees and talking so loudly over employees who were helping guests. A new employee was training and the GM was so rude to her, I would have quit!! Employee Kevin was VERY friendly and helpful. 5 stars for Kevin! He should be the manager! We were left outside to hook up the trailer by ourselves. Kevin had just arrived to work and witnessed us struggling and came over immediately to help. Definitely suggest some training and social skills for the GM. Some general respect for others would be a good start.

General Manager Brian Slack and his employee Dan Haahn (hopefully spelt that right) were both a pleasure to deal with. I came in with an issue with my tail lights looking for an adapter for lagnatevi lights I bought at another U-Haul location and Brian approached me and did actually have the adapter. He could’ve simply sold it to me and we move forward, instead he asked me some questions which led him to make the decision to help me trouble shoot the issue. In doing so we figured out both what was wrong and also that I didn’t need to do what we were about to attempt. Of course it started out with the intention to sell me a product or a service as a solution, and unfortunately it ended in me not purchasing anything from them that day, and two things happened. 1. They never made me feel like they had wasted time in helping me. 2. They created a customer for all future rental needs. Sales don’t always come the day you help someone, but what you do when helping me may create a customer for life. These are the employees companies strive to find. I can rent from Penske, Ryder, Budget and others when I need a truck, but Uhaul gets preference. Thanks for everything gentlemen.
