ORIGINAL REVIEW My name is Larry. I used Fix-A-Pool. In hindsight it was a huge mistake. I am 75 so I have had a lot of years to make a lot of mistakes. Using Fix-A-Pool was one of the bigger and more costly mistakes I have made. I thought I was doing everything right. I got four estimates. I checked out the reviews and complaints. I still ended up with Fix-A-Pool. Big mistake. Something I didn’t do is check with friends and neighbors. I should have. Two neighbors subsequently told me about pool companies that they have used with very good experiences. Please, please, please don’t make the same mistake I did using Fix-A-Pool. RESPONSE TO FIX-A-POOL If Leonard the owner of Fix-A-Pool spent as much time actually addressing client issues, Fix-A-Pool would have nothing but 5 star reviews. Instead, Leonard chooses to use his time to defame his customers. If you are reading this you are looking for a swimming pool contractor. Read the other reviews for Fix-A-Pool. You will see that every time a client posts a negative review, Leonard attacks the client. Leonard never accepts responsibility for project issues. He even goes so far as to deny that the writers are clients. Leonard did not respond to my last attempts to contact him regarding my issues. Now he blames me for the problems. Somehow Leonard has made Fix-A-Pool the aggrieved harmed party. Somehow I have become the bad guy and he is the contractor in shining white armor. To those of you reading this, STOP. Why would you even consider using a contractor that attacks the customer. Move on and look at other contractors. I really wish I had. Better Business Bureau I tried to use the BBB to mediate the problem I had with Fix-A-Pool when Fix-A-Pool would not respond to my calls. I suggest you go to the Better Business Bureau of Las Vegas, look up Fix A Pool and review the "Complaint" I filed. I think you will find Fix-A-Pool's responses eye opening. Service: Remodelling

Ruben Guizar's review is spot-on. They absolutely do not care about your time. We wanted our pool to be replastered. Kelly came by for our estimate and he was very nice and thoroughly explained the process. After that was just chaos. They repeatedly failed to show up on the days we were told they would be at our home. If they were that busy, a simple phone call would have sufficed, but no communication. On multiple occasions, we had to keep our dog inside the house for 12 hours for no reason. After the pool was drained, the pump and hoses were left in our driveway for weeks. Once again, we were told they would be picked up the weekend of the pool being drained. On to the replaster job. First, the plaster had to be chipped out. After they finally chipped out the plaster, they left tools and a mess all around the pool. We were assured it was going to be cleaned up the next day. Occasionally, without notice, one person came back to somewhat clean up the mess. Overall the mess wasn't cleaned up for weeks. While cleaning the mess, they apparently washed their tools in our side yard, and made another mess. Again, we had to call to get a worker to come back and clean up. That took days. On top of all the headache, they were DRINKING ON THE JOB! We found several beer cans and an empty box of wine coolers in our trash right after they left our home. They day of the plaster job was quite a show. Several cars parked everywhere in our cul-de-sac. They worked for most of the day, but again, cleaned their tools in our side yard leaving a huge mess. We cleaned it up ourselves after the fiasco from the first time. After they left there is a huge blue stain in front of our house. Who knows what that chemical is? We also found cigarette butts and other refuse all over our back yard. Worst of all, THESE GUYS AREN'T EVEN HOUSE-BROKEN! They relieved themselves by our pool equipment AND in front of our house! As far as the work quality, its so-so. The plaster is stained in some spots. The steps in the spa are now sloped downward. There are imperfections which cause brushing to be difficult. Our tile has plaster stuck on it in some places. They failed to re-install a pop-up. Kelly told us someone would take care of the chemicals after the pool was refilled, but that never happened. Kelly also told us we were receiving a better quality plaster ($$$), but how would we know? Not one person even showed us the product that was being used. In fact, none of the workers talked to us at all. Overall, stay away from fix-a-pool. They don't value your time, and are extremely messy, unprofessional, and disrespectful of your property. Edit: The contract is under my wife's name. Leonard should actually watch his employees work. He expects his employees to pee in a bottle in public. I think that says it all. What kind of compentant company has to generate so many excuses? Avoid at all costs.

Our cool deck was in need of replacing & Fix A Pool came to the rescue! Great work, nice crew working the job & the owner was very responsive. 5 stars from me.

Took them 3 months to finish resurfacing my pool... left pool drained the entire time. No communication. Now it is still not working properly!

Was not happy with fixable at all. First off Leonard and Kelly need to be on the same page Kelly came out in February to give us a quote, we talked about all the things that needed to be done I wanted the deck resurfaced and the pool replastered, Kelly then painted a good picture of all the work that needed to be done, they showed up one day unannounced and started working on the deck they painted over the cracked and broken stripping and when I called Leonard he said that's not included I said well that's not what Kelly said so I had a problem there after they started doing the remodeling of the pool some of the deck got ruined from them doing the work on the pool then there was some cracks which Kelly said would be taken care of called Leonard and he said that's not something we do then the workers used the beams from my patio to clean off their spatulas when they got done with the plaster they took the leftover plaster and dumped it in my rocks, that only took 3 months to get that cleaned up, basically what I'm trying to say is Leonard is a salesman and he paints a pretty picture he says he's going to do things and Kelly has no idea what Leonard is doing I asked for both of them to show up at my house so the three of us can talk neither one of them showed up I know Leonard's is going to write a bunch of explanations underneath my review and that's okay because I know that Kelly is very unprofessional and Leonard you need to be on the same page with Kelly because that is going to cost you jobs it cost to do five in total two of my neighbors two of my co-workers and my cousin I would not recommend fixable to nobody until dinner does something with Kelly Service: Remodelling
