Pearl Factory - Hawaii's Original Pearl-In-The-Oyster

My three girlfriends and I all went here to get pearls. Once we got home and could open our rings after waiting for the glue to set, we discovered that two of our rings were glued wrong and off center and on my ring there was tons of additional glue left on the ring. In addition both my friend and I received each other's rings and had to exchange with each other. Customer service offered to fix them but did not offer any kind of refund. It's also been over 3 weeks and I have not received my ring back. This experience is not worth it.

This was a fun experience! I got to select my pearl from an oyster and I got a silver pearl! And with the setting I chose I also got to pick an additional pearl. The person helping us was very professional and not at all pushy - I knew going into it that I wanted to get mine set into a pendant and they did show me some additional options but didn't try to force me into buying anything. I ended up using my own chain to turn it into a necklace but with the setting I purchased I think it's so pretty!

What an experience, we were blessed with Rosina as our guide the two girls in our group through their ceremony of searching for the pearls. I am so grateful that she explains the way that they harvest the oysters and they wait until they have passed naturally, so they are not killing the oysters to simply harvest the pearls. This a great little experience if you should feel inclined to shuck an oyster.

If you are not familiar with pearls, I won't suggest this store. I'm an Jewelry Entrepreneur and I checked their pearls. It's not the highest quality which you can buy better ones at Costco! I asked their Akoya pearls which came from Japan if they issued certificate. They do have certificate that issued by their store and not from the Japan Pearl Certificate.

Be careful tourists, they have excessive prices and try to get you spend more than $100 just with the experience of taking out the pearl.
