I went in due to pain caused by TMJ. After waiting nearly half an hour to be seen they take me into a room and just play a 15 minute video for me going over everything I already knew about TMJ before the doctor comes in to repeat what they just showed me. After explaining the issues I was having the doctor basically told me theres nothing they can do and that I should just learn to live with it. They then had me get some X-rays done which they didnt bother to tell me insurance wouldnt cover and that I would have to pay out of pocket for each X-ray which they decided I needed a few of. Afterwards I learn the X-rays didnt tell them anything new and again I should just learn to live with it. After having to do research on my own on the issue I found another oral surgeon who explained exactly how they can correct the issue and they were surprised I was told to just live with it. I wont be going back here.

I went to Dr. Saxe to get my extremely painful lower left side wisdom tooth removed the first shot was very painful and instinctively I screamed and this horrible reaction from Dr. Dr. Saxe came out. He said you're gonna be screaming that's it I give a shot to children.!!!! I wanted to leave right then and there but didn't know if I could find another surgeon that day I don't know what type of patients would ever think that treatment is ok but I've received that type of disrespect   I canceled my follow up that same day don't ever let a medical professional be disrespectful like to you my this happened apt.was 1/17/23

Im so glad so many people had such a great experience with dr Saxe I however did not I made the mistake of screaming when the first painful shot was given this man very rudely said if youre gonna scream thats it! I give this to children I have never had a medical professional act so unprofessionally in my life the extraction however went well no broken tooth no extra yanking like Ive experienced with other extractions so theres that The staff however was amazing for me he is someone I have no desire to see again and I have no desire to disparage anyones this is my honest review and Ive left nothing out

I came from emergency and was discharged and told to schedule a follow up appointment with Dr. Saxe this appointment was scheduled on the 29th of August a month and days away from my discharge. My upper jaw was fractured due to a bullet shot and my entire mouth is full of fragments I even had to attend to emergency room once because I had oral bleeding from the back of my throat. After this emergency room visit I was advised to call and see if I could get an earlier appointment with Dr Saxe. The front desk woman told me unfortunately I wouldnt be able to due to him being out? I was highly confused and just decided to wait. Literally this morning I received a call from (Deborah) (front desk) explaining that she needs to go over some information before I come in I respond to her call and she basically tells me that my Medicaid says Im not eligible to be covered and Id have to pay full price upfront and that they dont accept my other insurance or to find another surgeon which is understandable my problem really is the time it took to reach out to me about the insurance and the fact that they waited a day before my appointment to even say anything! Plus the attitudes! You shouldnt have any attitude when a patient is simply asking questions the demeanor of this entire place just gives bad vibes anyways if I could I would rate a negative because it wouldnt have taken much to just give a call days before the appointment to your patient. Do better.
