West Valley Dental

I have never been so impressed in a medical office than I was today at West Valley. In my life I have had 33 major surgeries, spent over a year total in a hospital and endless hours in doctors offices. 5 weeks ago I had a major spinal surgery and the dental hygienist (sorry I forgot you name again) made sure I was completely comfortable and was extremely understanding of some of my limitations. The dental office is something I’ve always dreaded and was the reason it has been 4 years since my last visit to a different dentist. Well today all my fears were put to rest due to the the excellent staff and the care they provide. There was zero judgement, no lecturing, only positive talk about how we will fix my issues. I have never had a dentist spend so much time in explaining the different issues I have. He assured me we will get my teeth and gums back to a healthy level and I truly believe him. Give this man a trophy for bedside manner. I was so impressed with this office that I reached out to my parents who then immediately made appointments for themselves and my girlfriend will be in touch shortly. I will update after treatment but I have complete confidence that I chose the right dentist and practice. Thank you for showing compassion, being non judgmental and assuring me that we will get this all worked out. I will be referring everyone I know go this practice, they are the 96’ Bulls in the dentistry world.

I am a new resident to Las Vegas and researched several Dental Offices before deciding on West Valley Dental, 9827 W Tropicana Ave. Dr Luong and his staff are superb. I have had several dental procedures and while the costs are reasonable, the service is outstanding. Dr Luong is an excellent dentist; he provides sound guidance, explains procedures and consequences clearly, possesses people skills, and is technically a superb quality dentist. I will recommend West Valley Dental to anyone who is seeking quality dental care.

What I'm about to write is no exaggeration. I needed a new dental practice since moving from Cali - this was next to my house. I went in and I've had a few cavities and even one crown in my 34 years of being alive but this dentist after one xray review recommended 17 CROWNS. I'm not exaggerating. 17. 20k+ worth of work. This is borderline criminal. I ended up going for a 2nd opinion at a dentist near by without mentioning this - he recommended 1 *possible* cavity and one possible crown. This is just absolutely unacceptable, I get that there can be difference of opinions but 17 crowns?? lol. DO NOT USE this practice.

I have been going here for 15 years and although I moved clear across town I would never switch to somewhere closer. The staff is very friendly and dr is amazing. Always explains everything in a way I understand. I highly recommend Dr Luong.
