This man charged me $500 to file my taxes in 2017, when I was just starting my business, making way below the poverty line. Despite having a copy of my prior year’s taxes AND quick books self employed information, he submitted my taxes and did them incorrectly. I just got a notice from the IRS that they never got my taxes, because he made a mistake and never told me that the return was rejected. I sat down with him and asked him what I needed to do to position myself to be able to start my business off on the right foot, and also what ways I could write off some of my charitable works, he did not help me at all and here I am, three years later, paying for his carelessness. Do not use this guy, at all costs. I wish I could get my money back from him.

I hired this person on a recommendation of a bookkeeper I know. I paid $500 for a really basic Schedule C filing for a self employed single parent. No mortgage or rental properties or additional stuff to do. This guy was not helpful, at all. He was rude, appeared judgmental, and honestly never even followed up with me or answered any of my questions. Today I looked at my paperwork and he never made me a balance sheet nor did he enter my child's name information correctly despite having my previous years' tax returns on hand. I paid more money to a professional so I could learn if I were missing any deductions and maximize my financial situation to ensure I was serving my business at its best. I got a lousy tax return in exchange and no help at all. Then he sent me a digital copy of the return that I cannot open on my Mac computer, even after downloading software, without paying an additional $7-20 to view it. Thank you for nothing, you overcharged me, your attitude is not great AND you gave my son an alias name on my tax filing. Attention to detail as a tax preparer is paramount!
