Phung Jefferson Law Offices

Phunj Jefferson has not been professional from day one with me. She was rude and condescedning. It's not about the client with her. I called her office and left a message and never heard back from her. I'm sure if I was a paying client it would be different. Do not go with this attorney. I don't recommend this attorney. I can't even rait her one star. She had judged me by the charge and treated me as such a crime and I try to explain she din't want to here.

Jefferson Phung was assigned as my court appointed attorney for a DV case that is due for dismissal. She and her office have been extremely unhelpful and unprofessional in getting my case handled. Because she isn't being paid by me, which I couldn't afford even if I wanted, she has grossly mishandled my case and hung up on me when I called to try to figure out what to do. I live out of state and have asked MULTIPLE times to appear in court via video and her receptionist has continuously told me that is not an option. This resulted in a bench warrant which Jefferson criticized me for not appearing on video for, after her office told me that wasn't possible! After calling her out on her lack of communication as my legal counsel, she hung up on me and refused to file the motion to quash my warrant until I provided her information directly that the court already had, so I had to file my own motion. It is disgusting to intentionally delay a case from being closed simply out of ignorance, but that is how she has handled my case since she was assigned. You're better off firing her and representing yourself if she is appointed to your case. She shouldn't be able to represent people if she can't communicate and explain information that is needed to get out of this nightmare system.

I have known Mrs Jefferson for a long time. She has been precise, diligent and informative. She definitely works hard for her clients. I will always recommend and refer prospective clients to her.
