My local bank was bought out by the large corporation that is Cornerstone Bank. Since then I have been silently getting charged for numerous new fees that my local bank never charged me for. I now pay a paper statement fee. I also get double charged when I use a foreign atm now as well. I have always been charged by the foreign atm. But now cornerstone takes it upon themselves to silently charge you as well if you use a foreign atm. Also, overnight you can no longer get a good interest rate. We were promised it would be a seamless transition and that the customer service and home town values would stay the same. Could not be farther from the truth. One month after the merger I was seeking another business loan. I was told by the new loan officer that my interest rate would be 2% higher than the previous one. I asked how that could be since I had great business history with them. He said its out of my hands all loans are now handled at headquarters in York. So no, there are no hometown values anymore. Its a cooperate company that runs local banks out of business and then gouges their customers to death one small fee or poor interest rate at a time.

Not the bank for you if looking for a loan, piss poor customer service and support in this category. tellers a helpful and respectful, giving them the second star.

The loan officers are nice, but the front desk employees treat people terribly.
