DO NO RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Penske prices matches. I filed a complaint with the Montana Attorney General, BBB, Consumer Affair Office. Posted google, yelp and Facebook reviews. It appears this location does this a lot! Total bait and switch, book at a lower price in advance and then cancel and make you rebook at a higher rate!
I had a reservation 5 months in advance. I called the location on Missoula and the customer service line multiple times to confirm. Every time they told me they would have a truck, and car carrier, avail for me on March 1st 2024. Today, Feb 22nd, I get a cancellation email. I didnt even get the courtesy of a phone call. I called the location and the guy told me nothing he could do, call the customer service number. 8 days before my rental and the cancelled my cross country move. I called the CS number and all they did was read me a scripts. I requested to speak to a manager and non avail. Said they would call me back in 2 hours, its been 7.
To add context my mom reserved a truck from this location about a year ago and they tried to pull the same thing. She had flown across country to move her stuff back. I flipped out and they conveniently found a truck for her, but only because she had already flown across country.
Be aware Budget Truck is trash and the guys at this location are rude and Incompetent!

One week before a cross country move they cancelled my reservation without so much as a courtesy call. Customer service offered me $250 as recompense. The cancellation set me back $8,000 because I had to rent somewhere else at emergency rates and change my plane tickets.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Don't ever ask for anything once the rental is out... Given this is Montana, I expected some level of local service...

Customer service was top notch very helpful awesome experience with them if I ever need to move again I will most definitely be giving these guys a call

Booked a Budget truck through their website to pick up at this location. A week went by and I got an email saying my reservation was cancelled. I went online and reserved again. Next day, reservation was cancelled again. No reason was given for the cancellation. I called budgets customer service to get an explanation of why they were cancelling my order. I was told that they would have to reach out to the Missoula dealer to find out. I was told they would call me back in 15 minutes to 2 hours. Surprise surprise, no one ever called back. The next day my wife called the dealer in Missoula to find out why the order was cancelled. She was told it was because the dont have any trucks of any size available for months. The person was extremely rude and said that its a third party website that books their trucks and they dont have any idea of what trucks are available. This is all happening 6 days before our move. Luckily we were able to get a comparable rate from uHaul. Do not use this company to rent a truck. There is absolutely no way to guarantee you will get the right equipment or any equipment at all. Book a truck through anyone else.
