I cant say enough on how much I love and appreciate all the help that Jackie has done for me growing out my hair from a total half shave from head surgery. She has helped me through the process of growing it out, going gray and making a new transition into a beautiful tri color low light. I get so many compliments on her work. Truly the best!

I don't often write reviews but I feel compelled to talk of my experience at Cost Cutters. I had my hair cut by Jackie on June 2 of this year and if I could leave a negative star, I would. My hair is fine and has medium density. It's thicker in the back than on the sides. I have large ears that stick out and I depend on the hair to cover them. I explained to Jackie I had a function to attend and I wanted my hair shaped and trimmed, it was in a slightly layered bob when I went in. I can not tell you how badly she cut my hair but let me try. This did not feel like a haircut, it felt like an assault. She "thinned" the back of my hair, unevenly and incorrectly; I've had two hairdressers and a physician confirm this since. There were sheets of my hair falling to the floor. Then she took a razor to what was left. It was by far the WORST haircut I've ever had. My ears stick strait out, and it looked like I've had chemotherapy. It was beyond ridiculous and made me feel terrible, ugly and self-conscious for the event. She ruined my event and my summer. It is just now starting to grow unevenly back in, it's been almost 3 months. The amount of work it takes to make it presentable is overwhelming. I would upload pictures, which I have if management is interested, but I can't bear to post them on a public forum. Proceed with caution.
6 month update: My hair is still just below my ears. Why? The abysmal razor cut Jackie used to cover up her huge mistake of thinning my hair has taken this long to cut the ends off and even out. I can't tell you how difficult it's been to curl this haircut. I still hate my hair and will have 3 more months before it will be completely grown out. 9 months of the worst hair of my life, 9 months of torture trying to make it presentable enough to go in public. I wouldn't let this woman shampoo my dog. Don't use Cost Cutters EVER. Go to a reputable salon.
