My husband and I had to make an emergency trip to Versailles and after a 3 day trip trying to get there we called Doris and thankfully she had an opening, she made us feel right at home from the time we walked in til the time we left. Her place is so beautiful and she is a true gem. She is a smaller cuter version of Angela Lansbury. She helped brighten a very unpleasant trip.We were sad we had to say goodbye to her. If you're ever near Versailles and need a place to stay this is it. And tell her Dan and Robin from Ohio said Hello.

I booked the Hilty Room for my first widow solo trip. I didn't want a motel and I wanted to feel safe. Doris is amazing! Her breakfasts were awesome! Our conversations were even better. I hope she accomplishes everything she wants to do with her future. Great place. HIGHLY recommend to go before she finds a buyer.

Excellent place and owner/operator Doris is great. She is lovely lady and does it all. She makes an excellent breakfast also. Unlimited coffee and sitting and enjoying such good stories and becoming friends is above and beyond! Can't begin to express enough thanks and enjoyment.

This whole house is a quaint antique. Loved it! The house was an experience and Doris was a great host. We loved staying here. Thank you so much for such an awesome experience.

Stayed 3 days. Doris is wonderful and an excellent cook. She is a sincere people person. I really am glad we got to visit as she prepared breakfast. Love the room. Thank you Doris for loving on us. We have someone we know im Versailles, Missouri. We are blessed!!!
