Luxury prices for not luxury rentals. This place is overpriced and poorly maintained. Dog poop everywhere, inside the homes the door handles installed backwards and often come loose. During the summer pool closed half the summer and when we need help, Im told too bad. Management sent out an email on Friday late afternoon of policy moving forward into 2024, they were closed on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I went into the office to get a new fridge filter and was told no. In the past when I needed something I go to the office, I was told that I should have placed an order through the portal. I was not aware I can do that. We pay more in rent and now have to provide our own filters.

Melissa and Lauren do an outstanding job taking care of any issues asap. They are both so delightful and personable and make it discharge an enjoyable community to live in. I would not hesitate to recommend Alpine Heights to anyone looking for rental living.

I find it interesting that I tried to leave a review yesterday & it did not post. I also find it interesting that when you look at the 1-star review you can't see why the person left a 1-star review but only a comment from the owner. I'm disappointed with management & the lack of communication from the team. What pushed me over the edge to leave a 1-star review is that the office team decided to send an email on Friday late in the afternoon, (as soon as the office closed) to inform us residents of the policies moving forward for 2024. I didn't see this email until the following day (Saturday), which states that we will have to buy our water filters for the fridge. I didn't think much of it and waited patiently for the office to open on Jan 2nd. I went in to request a new filter hoping they would extend a grace period considering that they sent the email late afternoon when the office was closed & wouldn't reopen until after the New Year. I was declined & told we have to purchase it on our own moving forward, with no exceptions. They call this a luxury rental but it's not a luxury rental, the grounds are poorly maintained, and dog poop is everywhere. The inside of the homes you can see how it was hurried up & built with a lack of detail. The door handles are installed backward inside the home, I can lock the bedrooms from the outside. The cheap laminate flooring is improperly installed & you can see where they cut corners & gaps between the floorboards & the flooring. This past summer the pool was closed half the summer, it was not usable. Our rent went up but because of the market rate but nothing improved. I'm thoroughly disappointed that we pay so much for rent and now we have to pay for fridge filters.
We provide fresh refrigerator water filters upon move in and replace them within the first six months of residence. After that, it falls upon the resident to replace their water filter. As you have live d in the community for significantly longer than 6 months, your refrigerator water filter is your responsibility to replace.
Up through the end of 2023, it was possible to order filters through the online ticketing portal (the standard for any type of maintenance request). The email early in the afternoon on the 29th was courtesy to inform residents that direct ordering was no longer a service that Alpine Heights would be offering, as individual billing was becoming unnecessarily complicated.
Other community residents took the offered opportunity to order one more water filter via the online ticketing portal, as stated in the email. We take our commitment to Fair Housing seriously, and if we offer protocol and/or timeframe exceptions to some residents and not to others, it becomes an issue of fairness and accessibility. Again, this was not an issue that directly affected you, as you have been a member of our community for some time, and would be responsible for purchasing your own filter anyway.

Condition of Common Areas: We are a pet-friendly community, and we love all of our furry residents. It is the responsibility of pet owners to clean up after their pets. We take pride in our property, and our grounds are regularly maintained. When community residents don’t take the same pride in their living space or responsibility for their pet waste, it is frustrating for other residents and for our grounds crew, who work to keep the community in the best possible condition.
Swimming Pool: We did unfortunately have to deal with some unexpected maintenance issues with the pool this past summer; in order to keep our community safe and healthy, the pool was closed during maintenance.
Maintenance/Repairs: If there are any maintenance requests for your home, there is an online ticketing portal, and our maintenance team works quickly and thoroughly to ensure our community-members’ satisfaction. If you are unsure how to submit a ticket, please contact the office and we will be happy to help get that started.

As a new resident I had plenty of choices but ultimately chose here. The folks here are friendly and outgoing. I actually drove thru several times before signing and asked residents their thoughts and experiences...each time they they were willing to have a discussion with me. Now as a current resident I enjoy having conversations, exchanging greetings, and saying hi to those residents along with the rest in the community. Very friendly and outgoing.
There have been a few hiccups, which can be expected, but EVERY time the management and maintenance crew went above and beyond to help. They are really good at knowing residents because they take the time to have conversations and get to know them. Occasionally situations arise that are out of their control but they make time to communicate and explain. More importantly they take action to remediate any issues.
The sponsored social events are fun and really bring the residents together. I love having a pool, an outdoor area to watch tv with a fireplace, and a gym on-site.
