Tom R. came out to see what I needed and provide a quote.Tom told me what to expect if I accepted, stating their crew would be out in 4-6 weeks to do the job but I should expect a written bid in a couple days. I accepted the bid and was told someone would contact me to setup a tentative date to start work in the next few days. I never heard from anyone so I called 3 weeks later and was given a date 2 months out, which put me 30 days later than I hoped. The crew never came and no one called to explain why the crew was a no show! I called the office the next day and they apologized and I was given another date 3 weeks later ! However the day before they were to show up the office called to cancel ! She tried to give me a date 3 more weeks later I ! I refused the date going over all the issues I have had with getting someone out from their company to do the job. The office employee finally agreed to get a crew out in 1 week.
The crew came out and rang my door bell because they wanted to know what I needed done. I was told by the office staff that I didn't need to even be home for them to do the work because they had the work order, yet they didn't know what I expected them to do! Well when I caught them about to leave and asked about some trees hanging over my driveway, they said that wasn't in the work order. SO they do have the work order , LOL!
I pulled the work order up on my phone to show the crew leader. I have to say he and the rest of the crew were very nice and courteous and cleaned up well behind themselves. And yes, they did cut the trees in question but not to the height that I had asked Tom to have them cut back to! The tree cutting crew didn't seem to understand the work order that was given to them. There is a poor communication issue going on between Tom, office staff and tree cutting crew.
Moreover the young lady in the office promised to send out a written invoice and envelope for me to mail in payment if I didn't want to pay on line with the 3.5 % processing fee. I never received the written invoice and envelope. Omni came recommended, but I am not sure if I will use again with so much confusion.

While Omni Tree does schedule out further than other companies, it was worth the wait. The crew did a great job. Juan was very friendly, professional and he and his crew did a wonderful job. They cleaned up well afterwards also. A job well done at an affordable price.
