I’m just moving to Platte City and in order to simply transfer the water into your name they want to charge $100. Not only that you have to go on their website and enter all the info yourself. To transfer your name to gas and electric it’s a simple phone call, they do all the work for you and it’s Free. On top of that, the woman I talked to on the phone about this was quite rude. So the first impression they are giving new costumers is...we’re going to charge you for something that cost us nothing, not even our time. And we don’t even care to be courteous about it.

I have had excellent customer service, from calling in to the service person that came to my home! Even when I had to call back for more information, could not ask for better service. I am one satisfied customer.

The individuals that are customer facing are hands down some of the most disrespectful and rudest individuals I have ever dealt with. I have had to interact with them at least a dozen time over the 3 years I have been a customer and not once have they been pleasant or courteous. I have been made to feel like a complete idiot for asking for information about backflow testing all the way through to asking what I owe for my water bill because the card never made it to my house. I hate to post negative reviews, but there is no other way I can see to get someone in charge to respond to the toxicity in that office. I have never been given a name from anyone there when I stop in or call. I understand you are a utility and that we literally have no choice but to use you, but you could try to be a little pleasant in your interactions. All I want to do is make a payment, be glad that I am there and say thanks and act like you like your job. A little kindness would go a long way.
