Absolutely horrible experience for our first time using our membership. Tried to take my kids swimming and I was sitting on the side. An extremely rude lady with glasses told me I needed to be in the pool with them. Ok fine, I got in the pool. She goes into the office and one minute later a manager comes out and asks me what the problem is. I looked at him dumbfounded and said we had no problem. He then tells me I’m not allowed to be there bc a camp is coming in 5 minutes. No sign of a camp. Not sure why I was kicked out, I did absolutely nothing wrong. I’ll be canceling my membership today since the main reason I have it is for my kids to swim and I won’t be patronizing a place with such rude and inconsiderate staff.

Discriminatory toward children with disabilities. Condescending and rude staff.

We’ve been coming for close to six months and from day one have been treated like family—the family I actually want. I love O’Fallon Park and drive past several other Ys to swim here at least twice a week. This Y has become so special to us—we are so happy to have found it.
