image Dr Matthew and his team are amazing! They treat all of my children ranging in ages. They take time and put in the effort to make sure everyone is comfortable and feels in control of their appointments. They are judgment free and happy to educate! I can not give enough positive feedback.

image I should've read the reviews! This is the worst Pediatric dentist. Please don't take your child here, dr Mathew was very unprofessional and very strange. I've never encountered this issue before with a dentist or a doctor. He wasted our time. Very cult-like and controlling environment. I feel bad for his staff. He made no effort whatsoever to complete my child's filling. I was confused as he left the room after one attempt at putting the large plastic mouth opener in my 4 year old's mouth, after she gagged on it. Wasted my time. He also told me to be quiet when I was being encouraging to my child. Luckily, Dr Ben could get us in at Hello! Hello! Is a great Pediatric dentist that I highly recommend. Please don't waste your time coming to Summit with dr matthew.

image My 9 year old son had a crown on a baby molar that was causing him terrible pain and I scheduled an appointment to see about getting it pulled. When I went in they advised that he needed 6 teeth pulled under sedation and gave a referral. The dentist said they didn't want him having anxiety about going to the dentist (I have read that other people had issues pertaining to this anxiety problem and him not seeing their kids because of it). They also prescribed the worst tasting antibiotic ever, but that's besides the point. The referral wasn't available for a consultation for over a month, so went to comfort dental where they pulled it that day. I got a second opinion from a different dentist and they actually worked up a treatment plan, which is what normally happens when you go for an exam. He needed only 1 tooth pulled, a cap on another, and a few fillings and sealants, and this would be done with nitrous, not put to sleep. The next week I took my teen daughters in for cleaning and exam and unfortunately the hygienist wasn't friendly at all. She was quick and seemed to do a half *** job with the cleaning, and once again the dentist barely looked at their teeth. I wanted them to do full mouth X-rays or pano since my daughters were considering braces and we needed referrals to an ortho specialist, but they apparently didn't even check with insurance for eligibility and said they weren't planning on doing them unless the dentist wanted to. We've all been to different dentists in the past and they take their time and are more gentle and very thorough. This place isn't worth it. There's no privacy and it's like cattle being herded through so that they can collect the check. I've worked for a few dental offices before as well, so I understand time is money, but we won't be back. We're not the ideal perfect teeth kind of family. So why take my kids to a place that can't even help us with our general dentistry needs? And like others said, when you need to reschedule your appointment they're quick to fire you as a patient... it goes back to them missing out on money.
