We were traveling through Hannibal on the way back to GA when my neck spasmed and caused all sorts or horrible pain. Called Dr. Rob and he let me walk in. Chiropractic has kept me going for the past 20 years and I know a good chiropractor the minute they start adjusting. Dr. Rob is very good. He helped me out tremulously with just one adjustment. He was also very personable. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Rob has put me back together more times than I can count. He is a wonderful and caring man with a long lasting and courteous staff.

I would give zero stars if possible. I have used this office in the past, Feb 2019 to be exact. This visit however I was fit.into the schedule on late notice which was a plus, the only plus. Once inside the office I filled out paperwork in regards to my ailments and then discussed with the chiropractor my pains. He proceeded to snap scrackle and pop me which was all well and good. Thhheeennn the skeezey part happened. He began to tell me how "the government" requires him to make a care plan in order to address my pains and he suggested 8 visits that month, so that's roughly 240 a month at 30 or so a visit but your first visit is 60 IF you have not been in his office for three years. My last appt was just over two years ago, so I was wrongly charged the 60 for this visit because according to his business guidelines which he told me himself, I had been in his office within the last three years and therefore was already established. Then he proceeds to tell me that since I am private pay, which means I'm not using my insurance, he could fix me in just 4 visits. So if I was insurance would you milk my insurance and do the 8 visits when you could've fixed me in just 4? My issues are tension due to outward stress which isn't going to change anytime soon, therefore my tension headaches aren't going anywhere anytime soon so I would like a chiropractor I can go to occasionally, when the tension is too much, to help me release that. Well he explained he just couldn't do that and if I did not agree to the 3 or 4 visits in the weeks time then I would be basically going "against medical advice," and would be removed from his system and if I wanted to come back for an adjustment I would have to pay 60 to be reestablished for my "new problem" which wouldn't be a new problem at all, but a preexisting condition of tension due to street from external sources. I felt like he was a snake and oil salesmen only trying to get a buck and my pain was secondary to his needs. Definitely NOT what you want from a care giver.
I'd suggest Sankpill in Hannibal. He will fix you up and send you on your way. Not try and tie you into something you don't need. Or a "cure" that isn't there.
