This is a review specifically for Uber Eats, and their customer service. I placed an order on Sunday evening from Applebee's. Food was projected to arrive with an hour of the order (restaurant is only about 3 miles away, light traffic). Food was delivered close to 1.5 hours after ordering, and was ice cold when it arrived. I filed a complaint immediately, and went to the website, and edited the tip to remove it. Imagine my surprise when I checked my account today and find the tip amount was still charged to my account. Emailed customer service, received the same canned reply each time. So, poor service, cold food, and customer service that doesnt bother to read emails. Plus the highest delivery fees in the game. I would avoid them if at all possible. I'll never use them again.
