image Called this clinic today getting information for my mom and the lady who answered the phone was HORRIBLE! I had a LOQ that i had been asking every clinic I called, all of them gladly answered the questions and gave the needed details. When I got this lady, she as very hesitant about answering anything! I knew certain processes from other clinics and asked "what is the process for you all's program" she took a deep sigh and started talking.. I had a follow up question and she didn't even answer it, she wanted to make sure i was aware their main thing was "making sure i had the money to pay". I wouldn't be calling around if i didn't know this was a financial thing! Hopefully your experience is better than the call I had. I HATE my experience went the way it did.

Mary-I am so sorry for your experience. That is not who we are or what we strive for. I would like the opportunity to answer any of your questions- please feel free to give the office a call and ask to speak with me- Kostas. If I am unavailable I will call you back. Again, my apologies.

image BtR is like a second home to me. I walked in scared, at the end of my rope and willing to try anything to stop feeling so abysmal all the time (and medicating with just about everything that wasn't good for me). What I found in the process were people who genuinely cared -- not just the clinicians, but the clients as well. The experience of healing alongside others struggling with the same problems was so rewarding and made me feel like I wasn't alone. Participation in IOP also led me to AA and the local recovery community, where I formed some great bonds that have helped keep me accountable and feel like others have been where I have been, felt what I have felt. That was worth all the money in the world to me. I feel like I've been given the gift of trust again, because compassion really starts when you learn that pretty much all human beings are doing their very best with what they have, and our pain or trauma at their hands can be overcome with time, support, and forgiveness. Kostas, Denise, Leigh, Maria, Laura, Keith, Kevin, Brenda, Shay, Judy, Dr. T, and everyone else on the Bridge -- I love you all from the bottom of my heart and I can't thank you enough for supporting me and giving me a safe space to recover and heal from a lifetime of unprocessed pain. You have all changed my life and if there is such a thing as "God's work", you all are doing it. Thank you for serving our community.
