This is an out of the way museum that is a must see. Especially if you want to know a lot about the Gulf Coast area.
There is a lot of information and some artifacts. Go check this gem out.

Hidden gem. This museum/house is very interesting. Gives insight to local history and living/building of locals. House dates to 1775. The docent was very informative and enthusiastic. We spent 2 hours exploring and learning. Highly recommended

What a lovely way to spend a morning!! The wonderful
Museum manager ensured that each set of guests had insight into the history of the families and the construction/ restoration of the site. He had an overall enthusiasm for the history of the site that was contagious. If you go, really take the time to read all the informative displays and look at the artifacts. The site is a Mississippi treasure.
